Cottbus Cottbus
Cottbus is the second largest city in Brandenburg, Germany. It is located about 125 kilometers southeast of Berlin, close to Poland, and on the picturesque Spree River. Founded in the 10th century, this ancient city is not only famous for its rich historical background, but also a vibrant industrial city. Cottbus has a diversified industrial structure, including traditional energy and machinery manufacturing, and is actively transforming to high-tech and sustainable development. Today, it has developed into a comprehensive city covering coking, machinery manufacturing, chemistry, textile and other industrial fields.
the main destination of our study tour, the Cottbus Handicraft Association has now become a modern handicraft service center in the South Brandenburg area. Its vocational training and continuing education programs are mainly aimed at out-of-business training for apprentices, covering various refresher courses in business management, technology and electronic data processing, marketing, etc., as well as preparatory courses for master examinations.
