Gut Aiderbichl
Austria's largest animal protection center, it currently has three visited animal reserves and countless animal care sites in six European countries, with more than 8000 rescued animals living on more than 30 farms spread across Europe by the animal welfare organization. Founded in 2000, by the 21st year of the reserve's establishment, 14,000 animals have been rescued here and 4 million visitors have been welcomed, including famous guests such as Alan Delong, Franco Niro and "Beach Rescue" star Pamela Anderson.
The Centre's aim is "to create a world in which all living things live in absolute harmony" and has developed into a well-known base for animal ethics education in Europe.
