In 2001, I went to Japan alone.
A true zero-start.
language barrier
Unstable identity
no background
There is no retreat
Every step must be taken with caution,
Every step forward is accompanied by anxiety and a price to pay.
That is not a romantic narrative of "struggle",
It's a long-term, high-intensity survival mode.
I have been in Japan for over 20 years,
Only step by step did he gain a firm footing.
In 2025, I came to Poland.
This time, I am not a "young person venturing into the world",
But a person with complete life experience.
The result is -
Day 1: Resolving personal identity issues in Poland
Day 2: The company is established and all necessary procedures are completed
Many people only say one sentence after listening:
"You are too obedient."
But I know very well in my heart:
It's not that Poland is easy, but that I have already traveled the hardest path.
The truth is:
Japan has given me abilities
Poland merely verified the results
In those years in Japan:
I learned how to survive within the system
I have learned how to assess risks across cultures
I learned how to rely solely on myself, without relying on luck
So today, when I enter a new country,
Processes are no longer intimidating,
The rules are no longer vague,
Identity is no longer an issue.
This is not a "fresh start"
This is a leap forward after long-term accumulation.
Japan was my "formative period"
Poland is the "expansion period" of capabilities
One is made through perseverance,
One is to walk in.
What I want to say is not about success
What I want to say is something that many people overlook:
The real difficulties in life,
It only appears when your ability is not sufficient.
When you have overcome the most difficult stage,
The "ease" that appears later,
It's merely the reward time has given you.
At the age of 25, I went to Japan to survive.
At the age of 50, I came to Poland to choose my life.
In the same foreign land,
But I am no longer the person I was back then.
The world has not become simpler,
It's me who has become stronger.
